I'm trying to get a pair of CM140's working as a repeater, but having problems
with the audio quality.

RX audio is from Pin 11
TX audio is into pin 2 (mic) via a 10k pot to set the level.

RSS options for Pre and De-emphasis produce either very "toppy" audio with a
slight hiss, or overly bassy.

What settings do people normally use for the emphasis?

What audio path between the radios is normally used?

Is it normal to use pin 2 (mic) for the TX audio (seems standard on RICK and
Zetron diagrams), or is pin 5 (flat) used?

Thanks.

Jim
