I don't know the current situation, but for years the antennas were inside the building because the Forest Service would not allow them on the outside. Around 1971 when the 2m repeater was first installed, we couldn't even acknowledge where the repeater was located. At one time some years back,

I'm happy to announce that the Colorado D-STAR group has completed our site move to Mt. Thorodin, Colorado. A full D-STAR stack of repeaters consisting of VHF, UHF, 1.2 DV and 1.2 DD are now operating from approximately 10,482 feet above sea level.
