I have been trying to convert a UHF Flexar base/repeater for use in the amateur bands (442.375MHz). RF conversion went well. Unfortunately, the manual I have does not seem to cover the "repeater" portion of the radio. I have a DCS module for the transmitter and another for the receiver. When these SIP modules are in place, I have a working repeater thanks to the internal controller. The $64 question is: How do I “turn off” the internal controller? And the $64,000 question is: Is there a site on Flexar conversions?
