Over the last couple of years several people on this yahoogroup and by private email have asked for the schematic to the Radio Shack test amplifier (model 277-1008).
The Shack used to have a schematic on a sticker inside the unit, but they stopped doing that several years ago. The public web site doesn't have it, and the store web site doesn't either.. which is yet another example of really good customer service... you've got questions, we've got cellphones(TM). Courtesy of Thomas Myers N9LHK the Radio Shack page at www.repeater-builder.com now has the schematic for download. He sent me a very good, well-lit closeup photograph that I played with and cleaned up a little using a couple of graphic programs. The normal / de-emphasis mod switch schematic is also on the download page. This allows you to monitor receiver discriminator and other "flat audio" sources.
