Hi Mike,
You might save yourself some trouble by using an outboard squelch circuit
fed with discriminator audio.
Here are some option in no particular order.

room I have 3 single-channel, 5 2-channel (one is internally strapped
as single channel, easy enough to change), and 1 4-channel scanning radio.
All have Call Guard boards. Also 5 hand mics, 2 desk mics (with the
According to the MSF manual, the TTE1452A is a 110 watt PA Deck (Single
Circulator); 435-470 mHz. The low split (403-435) version is the TTE1451A.

which seems rather odd because most of the 220-220 Licenses I've
seen are narrow band acsb type emissions. But I can't see a
reason why nb fm wouldn't work or be allowed. Certainly be more

The 220 band was all acsb only. The SEA radios used a pilot tone in the
middle of the audio band and used the LTR trunking format. The midland radio
and the Johnson radio were from the UK and were the MPT1327 signaling
format. The other difference was that those radios had the pilot tone

I can not find the TUE1972A RF Tray number in this MSF manual (1984). Perhaps
someone with a newer manual can find it. Based on the numbering scheme of
everything in this manual (last digit=1 is 403-435, =2 is 435-470 mHz) I would
surmise that it is a 435-470 mhz split.
