Null cable written in, this will only work on receiving data and not

I Ken,
Hook up a watt meter on one side of the can and your radio on the other side
set to the desired frequency and tune for max power out. This is a field way
to tune it without a service monitor with a tracking generator.

Go to the Sinclair web site and you will have to dig but they have the
manuals on the site.

This will work, however use a low power setting on the radio and a low power
slug in the watt meter. Also, tune each can on a side independently first,
then connect the 2 cans with the jumper cable and retune the cans together.
If you are changing the tuned freq's. drastically you can refer

Will a UHF MSR 2000 TLE2283B intermittent-duty PA play nice cranked back to
30 - 40 watts, or will it go spurious on me?
Inquiring minds want to know.

George,
The MSR2000 manual specs the TLE2283B as variable between 45 and 100 watts.
You're taking a chance to run it below 45 watts, especially if it is feeding
a reactive load. The specs assume a stable 50 ohm load.

I'm running out of usable antenna mounting space here and was wondering
if anyone has tried to do the folloing and with what results :
1. Superimpose a complete set of DB420 elements with the harness on a

Hello All-
I have found hidden in the shack, a Decibel DB-4081 4 can duplexer.
It is labeled as being tuned to 460.35 / 465.35. Can these cans be
modified to work in the 440-450 range for ham use? I am working on
building a D-STAR system and this will save me a bunch of money if
they can work.
Having a hard time understanding how to program these, I would like to
be able to read the 45 and put that info in the 48b, I know the
software is different, so will have to retype the settings.
All I would like to do is use the 45 or 48 as a two or three tone
encoder, decoder. Not using the
Can you just imagine what would happen if she cuts the AC power cord instead
of the coax?
I'll be waiting to read about all of the lawsuits happening.
