You don't move the Invar rods at all- those are the pass adjustments. You first adjust the Invar rods for minimum insertion loss at the pass frequency, then you adjust the side rods to achieve maximum rejection at the notch frequency. Just so we're talking apples and apples, the Invar rod is in t

Hi all, In tuning the reject for a wp-639, how far should I expect to move the invar rods to find the notch? In tuning mine (the poor man's way - system on the air receiving a weak station) I didn't find a definite place I"d call a null. There was more noise on the signal with the rod pushed m

There is an extension to asterisk called app_rpt. It can run with conferences or not or you can build your own conference bridge. It uses sub 10.00 USB dongles for the radio interface. AllStarLink etc are just conference bridges and registries offering packaged install distros but the under

You might want to take a look at my project "thelinkbox". It supports the same <$10 USB audio dongles as Asterisk as well as IRLP, EchoLink and Dril interfaces. It can work independently of EchoLink and IRLP. You can setup a single Reflector/conference and connect all of your repeaters to it if

Personally, I have always liked eQSO. I've used it since about 2002. I have also used Echolink. For several years I had my repeater set up to interface with both Echolink & eQSO. -- Original Message -- Received: Fri, 17 Jul 2009 09:45:04 PM PDT From: "wa5jxy" To: Repeater-Builder@yahoog
