After spending MANY hours today trying to get the 110V AC to 12V DC 45amp
converter for my motorhome operating, I am looking for new ideas. This system
needs to keep my deep cycle battery charged AND power the 12V DC appliances in
the motorhome.

While you are at it. Build in the -BB option or buy one of the newer
Battery backup option Astrons. I have the 20A-BB and a 100 AH CD
Technologies 12vdc battery and it keeps that up just fine. I put a
cheap DVM on the battery so I can track when it drops below the 20%
threshold suggested

One thing your power convert in the motor home probably does is to keep a
charge on the RV deep cycle battery. I doubt that the Astron will do that.
