Re: [Replicant] Galaxy Note II Camera (Fil)

2018-03-30 Thread Isocrates
Hello,

I haven't managed to obtain the logs yet, but I tried something else
in the meantime. I installed the "Open Camera" application from
F-Droid to see if I could access the camera with a 3rd party
application. Upon opening the application, it gave me the following
error that may be of use: "Failed to open camera. Camera may be in use
by another application". The default Camera application was not
running, and I also disabled it. I also tried switching between the
two cameras in the Open Camera application, but nothing happened.

At this point, it might be a good idea to get logs with:
> $ adb logcat -b main
and see if something is crashing when you try to use the camera.

If this is the case, it would be nice to bugreport it.

Denis.

Hello Fil,

I tried your instructions, but they did not work. I tried force stopping
the Camera (com.android.camera), after clearing the data, but that also did
not work. The same error appears.

Let me know what else I could try.
