This feature is not clearly documented. You can add the following to your 
rmagic.ini file and change the value for Truncate (60 characters is the 
default):

[FAILURE]
Truncate = 60


If you want to remove this completely, I believe you just give no value for the 
Truncate option.

[FAILURE]
Truncate =
