Do you have a special question for your Angel? Do you
know how to go about asking her? Why not try this?

Sit down in a quiet place and relax. Ask your question(s)
to either or both God and the Angels, and closely monitor
your physical and emotional reactions to each question.

If you can't think of anything to ask, here are some to get
you going:

What do I need to do to bring more happiness in my life
right now? What changes should I make in my life right now?
What is my life mission? What purpose am I here to fulfill?
What memories from my past do I need to heal?
How can I heal the different areas in my life?

Work on one question at a time. Repeat your question and
pay close attention to your responses. Did your body twitch
in any area? Did you get warm, cold? Were you
sad/happy/depressed? Did you get a feeling about the
meaning of the response?

Two things you must always remember:
True answers from God and the Angels are repetitive.
True answers from God and the Angels always have love.

You will receive the same answer, plus it will be more
detailed every day. Write the answers as they come and
you will see more and more as the Angels lead you to the
right answers for YOU.

If the answer is not repetitive, if the answer doesn't have
love, think twice before assuming it's from the Angels.
Above all, enjoy this experience. Know that it brings your
Angels closer to you. The more you do it, the more you will
learn from your Angels. Isn't that a great lesson in itself?

Thanks for reading,
Jan

  Your Mind Is A Healer
~ By Jan Tincher

Copyright © Jan Tincher - All Rights reserved
Http://www.tameyourbrain.com

Your mind affects your brain, your brain affects your body. If
you are thinking bad thoughts, your body tightens up and you
feel the stress. Your thoughts also affect your disease-fighting
immune system.

Images are the language of the brain. If you imagine yourself in
perfect health, you have a better chance of obtaining perfect
Health.

That being the case, which of the following scenarios appeal to
You?

Your healthy cells are militia. You have a captain in charge. The
captain is you. You relax and tell your healthy cells to either
capture and destroy the bad cells as some people do, or to
encapsulate them with love which causes a powerful change in
Them.

You've seen the Pac Man game where the little circles munch
their way around a board. Well, how about you imagine getting
well this way: Every time you take a drink of water, imagine
that water turning into little Pac Mans (Men?), and they are
eating all the sick or injured cells.

If you have a *bad* back, how about every time you sit, stand, or
lie down a certain way, you see it getting stronger and stronger?
Do you have a dislodged vertebra? Every time you move to your
left or your right, see it coming back into shape.

How about when you have a cold and your sinuses swell? Can you
imagine an ice pack inside and outside your nose taking the swelling
down?

How about if you injure yourself and the blood flows? Can you
imagine and actually *feel* an ice pack on it, stemming the flow?

If you have a difficult time with this concept, click here:

Now, I'm not saying this will happen each and every time you try
it. And more importantly, I'm not saying to heal yourself when
there is a doctor available. I am saying the doctor will have a
tough time healing your body if you don't help him or her. The
techniques listed above are just some of the ways you can help
your doctor. Use your imagination and see what works for you.

You may have tried something like this years ago and it didn't work.
Well, you can be sure there's only one reason it didn't work for you
and that is -- you didn't do it right, meaning you weren't focused on
what you were doing and/or you didn't have faith that it would work.

I had a hard time at first, too, using my mind to effect changes, but
I'm getting pretty good at it. The other day, I went to a show and it
was a tear jerker. I simply imagined a hanky blotting my tears, I
could feel how soft and absorbent it was. I never once felt one roll
down my cheek. grin

Get knowledgeable on how your mind works. You can use it in lots
of ways. The Recommended Reading below will help.

Thanks for reading,

Jan

[ReprintArticles-Paradise] Potted Christmas Trees - Is It Worth It?

Potted Christmas Trees - Is It Worth It?
By Monica Resinger
_http://homemakersjournal.com_ (http://homemakersjournal.com)

Each holiday season, I think about getting a live, potted Christmas tree. I
keep thinking that it would sure save a lot of money because we should be able
to use it as a Christmas tree for a few years -- as long as I can keep it
alive. Then when it grows too big to be a Christmas tree, we could either
plant
it in the yard, in the community or in the forest. But could I keep it
alive?

This year, I did some research to help me make the decision of whether or
not to purchase one. Here are three important factors that I based my decision
on:

~ Most potted Christmas trees have only a 50-50 chance of surviving the move
from indoors to the landscape, even with proper care.

~ Larger trees are more prone to go into transplant shock than smaller ones,
so if you do purchase one, go for a smaller tree.

~ The tree should not be in the house any longer than 7-10 days.

With the price of live, potted Christmas trees being so high, I am thinking
twice after knowing this information. For one thing, I'm used to being able to
take the Christmas tree down at my leisure, with no time constraints. There
is enough to do at Christmas time that I don't want to add another time
demanding task. But, if you decide you still want to give it a try, here's
some
information about growing them.

To Plant or Not to Plant

If you decide to keep your tree in it's container, you will need to water it
religiously. This is extremely important. Keeping it in it's container will
give you time to think about where you want to plant it in the spring. You may
even want to try and keep growing it in the container for next Christmas.
Remember that it can not stay in the house longer than 7-10 days. You'll need
to place the potted tree out in your yard.

At planting time, plant the tree the same depth at which it was growing.
Water well and mulch to help protect from hard freezes. If you live where the
ground freezes, dig your hole before it's frozen, set the tree in the hole and
surround the roots with mulch until spring when you can properly plant it
after the ground thaws. Stake the tree to prevent wind damage.

Where to Plant

Because of the pyramid shape of pine trees, the best place to plant one in
your yard is in a corner. Here it will take up less space of your yard. Of
course, you can plant it anywhere you want, but remember that most of these
trees can grow huge in 20 or 30 years. Look around before you plant for power
lines or rooftops that the tree may come in contact with after it grows very
tall. Garden centers usually offer dwarf varieties also; be sure to check the
label for size, zones and growing requirements.

I hope this article gives you enough information for making the decision of
whether or not to purchase a live potted Christmas tree.

Giving Homemade Cookies for Christmas
By Monica Resinger
_http://homemakersjournal.com_ (http://homemakersjournal.com)

A great way to save money each holiday season is to give homemade cookies.
I have received homemade cookies as gifts and I always love it when I do. It
gives me a chance to try new cookies and appreciate the fact that the giver
spent time on me! How thoughtful! I have also given homemade cookies as
gifts and found it to be a fun tradition.

With all of the following packaging ideas, be sure your cookies have cooled
first before packing them. If you don't, they will stick together and become
a mess. As a bonus, include the recipe with your cookies. Write it out on
a pretty recipe card, or print from the computer and include with the
cookies. Be sure to include a note with the recipe that it is the recipe for
the
cookies you gave them whatever year it is.

There are many ways to present cookies as gifts, a couple I'll mention here.
One way is to save coffee cans large or small; clean them, decorate them
(if you wish), line them with wax paper, then fill with fresh cooled cookies.
You can decorate the coffee cans with a coat of spay paint and holiday
stencils, or wrap it with wrapping paper. Just use your imagination or search
the
Internet for ideas.

Another great container for cookies is a tin that previously held something
else such as tea, purchased cookies or candies, etc. You may have some
already, but if not, thrift stores have an abundance of them (many are
decorative)
for very reasonable prices. Clean first of course, then line with wax paper
and fill with cooled fresh cookies. These are great because there's a
variety of sizes that will suit your giving needs and if you look for
decorative
ones, you will not need to do any decorating yourself... just add a bow and
voila! You could also match your cookies with the tin. For example, if you
have an M M tin, make M M cookies, or if you have a Hershey's Cocoa tin,
make cookies that use cocoa.

Pretty plastic holiday plates will also work. Just neatly present the
cookies, cover with colored plastic wrap and top with a bow.

Here's a wonderful cookie recipe to get you started:

No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
24 servings

2 cups rolled oats
3/4 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2/3 cup butter, softened
1 cup confectioners sugar

In a large bowl, combine the oats, sugar and cocoa. With clean hands, mix in
the water, vanilla and butter to form a dough. Wash hands, then roll the
dough into balls 1 to 2 inches in diameter. Roll balls in confectioners' sugar
until thickly coated (or they will become crusty). Chill 20 minutes before
serving.
