i've reenabled the tests since a few days and it has at least revealed one 
interesting case, lintian, where the tests failed due to strip-determinism, 
which is in the process of being fixed. 

So yay for running tests! :)

to speed up things when building hundreds of packages, as

hmm.. I'm pondering to re-enable the tests. They should eat 10% of the build 
time only anyway...
