Hi!

While working on the “reproducible builds” effort [1], we have noticed
that testdisk could not be built reproducibly.

Yay, very thank you for this! :)
As you may guess we reproducible builds team does not apply patches
directly to the packages.
With this email I'm opening a bug against the testdisk package in Debian
so that the testdisk maintainer is aware and can apply the patch.
