Personally, I would revert it now so that you don't have to think about
it anymore.

(Expect a strip-nondeterminism upload very soon.)

I hadn't seen that, only checked the manpage on a sid install.
Makes more sense to treat it as a jar rather than a zip too.

Somebody just pointed me towards this commit:

This is just a mail to point out there is no need to call or build-depend on
strip-nondeterminism manually; it will be done for you. 

There might be some confusion here as APK support for strip-nondeterminism
was only added recently and it has not made its way into a release:

I recommend you revert this commit and await the above commit to land in sid.
