Title : Enterprise Java Applications Architect - Web Services Location : Bethpage, NY Contract : 6+ months contract Description: One of the nation's leading innovators in the Communications Industry, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Java Applications Architect for a long-term consulting assignment. This individual will work on a number of corporate and business unit initiatives, including the build-out of an internal gateway to support their service delivery models. This is a key technical and strategic position and requires the individual to not only have technical expertise, but a strong business-sense as well as the ability to create and deliver professional presentations to senior level management. Requirements: . 10+ years experience in Java/J2EE technologies (specifically developing & designing enterprise applications) . Significant Architecture & Design experience - at both the systems & applications levels . Extensive Oracle database experience (SQL / PLSQL) . Must have strong XML / Web Services experience . Strong UNIX O/S background . Full SDLC experience . Experience creating complex technical & detailed design documents . Excellent written and oral presentation skills and be able to interact with Senior Management .
