The Business Systems Analyst will work on enhancements to existing applications and new builds. Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project. Delivers realistic project and quality plans and tracks activities against the plans, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate. Monitors costs, timescales and resources used, and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Manages the investigation of operational requirements, organizational designs, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes. Manages the analysis of business processes; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and recommends new approaches. Contributes to evaluating the factors which must be addressed in the change program. Helps establish requirements for the implementation of changes in the departmental business process. Uses appropriate tools, including use cases, process models, non-functional requirements, user interface wireframes, UML activity diagrams, state diagrams, to contribute to the development of systems architectures in specific business or functional areas that are maintainable and supportable. *Education: * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or information systems, or equivalent experience * Work Experience: * 5-8 years of experience as a Systems / Business Analyst for web based projects. Able to conceptualize and think creatively Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Persuasive, patient manner and team leadership capabilities Previous experience eliciting requirements through interviews, follow up, mock-ups Strong hands-on work with use cases is required; use case exercise will be given as part of interview process Preferably supply chain projects but can be learned.
