Position Title: Sr. ETL/Informatica Developer Location: New York City, NY Duration: 6+ Months The candidate must be able to interview onsite (face to face in NY/NJ). Client is seeking a Sr. ETL/Informatica Developer to help develop our next generation data warehouse. As a member of our data warehousing team, you will work side by side with other developers, testers, product owners, and architects to deliver an enhanced data warehouse that delivers reporting, analysis, and dashboarding capabilities to both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in data warehousing with deep ETL skills. An ideal candidate for this position also has prior experience on a Scrum or XP team delivering robust and highly-usable software solutions with the scalability to serve our rapidly growing business . Develop and maintain data profiling (schema, volumetric, and quality) of source systems . Query and analyze data to complete DW source to Client mapping exercises . Support data reconciliation and validation efforts in existing production data and reporting systems . Perform data migration between the development, QA and production environments . Develop ETL code as needed to support warehouse development . Execute test plans for unit, system and functional test cycles Required Skills: . 3- 5 + years of total experience in developing Data Warehouse and ETL/Informatica applications . 5+ years of experience using and developing complex SQL scripts to manipulate large data structures . 3+ years of experience with relational databases (SQL Server) . Experience in designing and deploying ETL scripts utilizing tools (Talend, Informatica, SSIS, DataStage, etc.) Education/Certifications: BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
