The most successful candidate for this role will have had previous in the design, development and implementation of data warehouses, operational data stores (ODS) or similar database structures. Hands on experience with one or more data integration tools (ETL or middleware) is required as is strong hands on experience with data modeling. Familiarity with IT Governance models or approaches is desirable but not required. The Data Architect should have experience in definition and application of data standards. The successful candidate will have had experience with data acquisition strategies such as ETL, ELT, Data federation, and data virtualization.
