*Position : SQL Developer/DBA* *Location: Stamford, CT* *Phone/Skype* *6+ contract* *Basically need a strong SQL Developer with some administration experience and must have experience with ETL Integrations using Informatica..also should able to communicate well….* *Responsibilities: *Complete integration development assignments for the ETL Team Perform technical problem assessment, resolution and documentation Build Informatica mappings, transformations and Data Quality rules Participate in requirements gathering and design for ongoing development projects Recommend and implement improvements to the ETL Development process Support production code for issues, failures and maintenance - At least 7 years experience working in a similar capacity with proven database design and development experience - *SQL Server 2005 and 2008/2012, development experience* - Must have a record of creating and maintaining large, scalable databases supporting both custom built and third party applications - *Must have intermediate experience developing ETL/Integrations using Informatica* - Proven capabilities providing database base programming support and troubleshooting to multiple IT projects - Expert level SQL programming, T-SQL, triggers and store procedure capabilities - Database administration experience including import, export, data transformation, backup and restore is a plus - Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized and have exceptional writing and communicating skills *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* - A minimum of five years of Development with some DBA experience using SQL Server - Experience working in an Agile environment (preferably XP), working in short iterations and using test driven development. - Experience in iterative system design, development and implementation, a plus - Experience working with open source solutions - Experience programming in Java a plus - Experience in Business Objects universe design a plus - Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, and will have exceptional writing and communication skills - Demonstrated a record of developing successful applications that are highly integrated and reliable - Ability to operate effectively, and with a sense of possibility, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment *Qualifications:* · Exposure to all phases of data integration and/or warehousing life cycle including planning, analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of data and meta-data · *Strong experience in designing and developing of mappings, transformations, sessions and workflows in PowerCenter* · Good exposure to working with the multiple file formats, relational database systems and different application platforms · *Good exposure in Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Management, Troubleshooting, Reverse Engineering and Performance tuning in various level of the ETL Process* · Strong experience in performance tuning for Informatica processing · Strong experience in SQL and its stored-procedure derivatives (e.g. PL/SQL, etc.) · Proficiency in relational database design and database administration · Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments, file manipulations and shell scripting · Experience working with Informatica 9.x a plus · Must be self-directed and motivated · Must be able manage individual workload and deliver to agreed upon project milestones · *2- 3 years Informatica Experience* · Exceptional mapping and workflow development skills, administration and configuration and deployment and code management experience · *At least 8 years overall technology experience* · Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies, architectures and technical standards *Regards,* *Harshit Goel* *IT Recruiter* *IDC Technologies, Inc. * *1851 McCarthy Boulevard, Suite 116,Milpitas, CA, USA, 95035* Phone: 408-418-5779 ext 1013 |Fax: 408-608-6088 | Email: hars...@idctechnologies.com <%20hars...@idctechnologies.com>| Web: www.idctechnologies.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
