This is Reference for Following Position ***** Please reply with Resume, Work Authorization , Rate & Contact Details ASAP ***** *Job Title: Sr. Cognos BI developer with version 10.2* *Location:* Mentor, OH *Duration:* 6+ Months *Interview Type: * Phone+ Skype *Primary Skills: Cognos BI (version 10.2), SQL and Data Modeling* *Job Description:* v Experience in Business Intelligence, ideally within a manufacturing industry v Expert knowledge of *Cognos BI (version 10.2) *and analytics, and *Data Integration tools (Informatica) & languages (ETL/SQL) * v Develop Business Intelligence Reports and Dashboards using the Cognos Suite v10.2.x v Understand the business concepts behind the reporting specifications, especially in a manufacturing environment v Functional Design experience in Dashboards and Reports . Experience on collecting and analyzing data to produce Business Intelligence dashboards and reports related to the various functions of the business (Finance, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations) v Produce technical design documentation including logical data models and detailed reporting specifications consistent with the reporting requirements. v Framework Manager modeling and Report Studio authoring including MDX v Strong *SQL and Data Modeling skills* v Knowledge of structured data, such as entities, classes, hierarchies, relationships and metadata. v Knowledge of database management system (*DBMS)* physical implementation, including tables, joins and SQL querying. v Ability to combine data from multiple sources when needed for the analysis. v Familiarity with the use cases, business purposes and quality of the data. v Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent English will be essential and any other EU language would be beneficial v Ability to understand and analyze the existing business processes and environment along with the user requirements. v Excellent ability to liaise with business owners, influence and guide them.
