Job Role: .Net Developer. Location: NYC. Duration: 10 + months. Description: C#.Net Developer to support a client initiative taking them from a mainframe to a customized web based system. Project includes working with the clients AP/AR/Billing/Maintenance applications. Deliverable is to move them off the legacy system, create cost savings and efficiencies, and a management tool. Responsibilities: · Work with the Application Architect and the Sr. C#.Net Developer on the development and implementation of a large scale and high-performance internet facing web application utilizing C#.Net, MVC, and ASP.Net. · Use MVC to build applications. · Utilized solid knowledge of Object Oriented design, architecture and integration patterns along with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework. · Focus on resolving integration issues on deployment of modules of large applications that run in parallel with current state. Requirements: · Candidates must have 8-10 years of experience with web development and ASP.Net. · A history of web development utilizing .Net 3.5 or 4.0, WebForms and ASP.Net. · Utilization of MVC Framework for building applications and JQuery for at least 2 years. · Front-end development using JavaScript frameworks like JQuery or Bootstrap. · Experience working with Web Services, AJAX, Entity Framework and SQL Server. · Agile development process experience. · Legacy to web conversion project preferred with knowledge of mainframe. · Excellent verbal communication and concise writing skills, and ability to work well with a team.
