Job Title: Infrastructure Architect Location: Van Buren Twp, MI Duration: 6+ month no. of positions: 2 positions Rate: $60 per hour on 1099 or C2C (all inclusive) Strong Infrastructure knowledge – Storage – cloud (AMAZON) –vmware – Team member will represent infrastructure solutions organization on projects to implement business applications. Team member will establish technical requirements, create infrastructure designs and drive infrastructure and technical implementation to support business needs. Solutions must leverage existing standards and operate efficiently and effectively within our operating environment. Team member will complete deliverables in accordance with project delivery process. Skills/Experience *Design and deployment of infrastructure components (server, network, desktop, storage) * Technical deployment experience of applications solutions on Unix and Wintel platforms * Experience with technology deployment in TWO or MORE of the following areas application/technology areas: EDI (Sterling Gentran), PeopleSoft, Hyperion, WebFOCUS, JCAPS integration, platform virtualization, java application servers, .net based development * Strong communications skills and demonstrated ability to work with IT clients to deliver exceptional value * Knowledge of software development lifecycles * Ability to work directly with senior level IT personnel (Directors and above) * Desire to work hands-on in the implementation of technical solutions Beneficial: LAN/WAN Network design and implementation Storage area networks (EMC, IBM) Custom application development -------------------------------------- Requirement-2: Title: Infrastructure Solution Architect Location: Hartford, CT Rate: 70/hr c2c oe 1099 7+ years of experience (Dependent on Architect Level) Requires broad infrastructure architectural knowledge of all components of applications infrastructure systems including object component and mainframe based development environments; communications technologies including middleware and open gateways; and multiple backend database technologies. Must be skilled in the design, management and oversight of multiple development efforts integrating, multiple technologies to implement the process component of a requirements based solution The Infrastructure Architect is a technical leadership position that requires strong infrastructure design skills, excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on conceptualizing and designing architectures.
