Java / J2EE with Websphere, SOAP, and REST are critical. Must be in the greater Chicago area. Energy company experience is a plus. Need Strong English skills. Skills : Experience / Skills 5+ years experience developing web applications and a working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques and design. 3+ years experience developing Java web applications utilizing the following technologies/tools/techniques: o J2EE Framework o Java Classes o JSP and Servlets o LDAP o Enterprise Java Beans o JMS and MQ Series Messaging o Development in a J2EE server environment with use of IBM Websphere as the IDE. Experience in creating SOAP and REST based web services. Strong SQL and analytical skills. Strong markup language skills (HTML, XML, CSS) Strong client-side JavaScript skills. Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience. Preferences · Familiarity with energy industry terms and business vernacular. · Experience troubleshooting and debugging web applications on the UNIX Operating System environment. · J2EE and or IBM Websphere certified. Project Details : Job Responsibilities: · Develops, codes, tests and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software within the Company's suite of Internet applications. · Works with technical staff and business team to understand and analyze system changes.
