FileNet Professional Certification Project Details: Details on conversion from FileNet IS to FileNet P8 CM: Approximately 5 million images (pages) representing 820 thousand documents must be extracted from our existing server. The total size of this conversion is approximately 400GB. These images are stored on 40 9.1GB platters in an HP Optical JukeBox with 4 drives. Current system is Panagon Image Services v4.0 SP4 running on a Windows 2000 Server. DOC staff will configure FileNet P8 object stores, security and document classes. Remote access can be made available to contractor. Conversion plans must not impair production users' ability to retrieve documents. Conversion during normal business hours, 0700-1900h Central Time, is acceptable only if production users' ability to retrieve documents is not impaired. Images (pages) include the following file types: • PDF • XLS • TIF • Outlook • Faxes No more than 40 document classes exist. Documents must be mapped to appropriate document classes as defined by State. Indexes must be mapped from existing Image Services structure to new Content Manager structure. No more than 65 indexes need to be mapped. Contractor must provide plan for secure temporary document storage during conversion. Contractor must specify how they will destroy all project documents and images used during the migration after completion of the project. Confirmed that VPN access can be available upon request, must not be the means by which data will be transferred. All data in transfer through any medium must be encrypted. The DOC will provide a 500GB external device for use in the physical transfer of data. Details on conversion from Docuware to FileNet P8 CM: Approximately 800 thousand images (pages) must be extracted from our existing system. he total size of this conversion is approximately 39.2GB. Docuware v4.5 software and images reside on PC with Windows 2000 OS. Images (pages) include the following file types: Proprietary TIF Documents must be mapped to appropriate document classes. Indexes must be mapped from existing structure to new CM structure. • Last name, first name, license number, and certificate number are required indicies. • Some images will also have Social Security Numbers as an index and these must be converted to new system where they exist.
