*Location: Danville, PA* *Interview Process: Phone and Skype* * MUST be US Citizen/Greencard* *SKILLS AND ABILITIES:* Demonstrates knowledge of overall EDW data architecture including database level performance tuning such as distribution key design, defining alternate keys and joined indexes. Demonstrates ability to manage database roles and resource utilization. Demonstrates ability to tune query's and manage a diverse query workload. Demonstrates knowledge of Teradata backup and recovery procedures and utilities. Demonstrates knowledge of data access security options. Demonstrates knowledge of ETL loading best practices. Demonstrates knowledge of all Teradata loading utilities including fastload, mload, tpump and bteq. Demonstrates ability to coordinate diverse tasks. Demonstrates ability to analyze problems and formulate solutions. Demonstrates ability to work independently. *EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required. Minimum 8-10 years of direct experience with Teradata version 12 or higher which provide knowledge of database technologies, the SUSE Linux operating system, networking and I.S. infrastructures required.
