Job Title: QA Automation Engineer ------ NO H1B Location: Hopkinton MA Duration: 6+ Months to start Near By State Conultants & Max Rate $42/hr Job Description: Scripting/software development expert for the automation infrastructure project at E-lab. The task includes o Gathering requirements from all teams within E-lab o Understand the E-lab process of qualification and resource management o Defining the common set of requirements for test automation and management o Develop a basic understanding about the technologies, equipment and test flows that need to be automated. o Build the E-lab automation framework using the Qualisystems automation tool. o Working closely with third-party automation vendor(Qualisystems) to follow up on best practices and code structure o Ensure that the design is scalable, portable and sustainable in the long run Work 1x1 with each team to educate them about code structure and overall the infrastructure built. Developing building blocks/modules using TestShell for test automation that can be used by the E-lab team to customize their automated test case suite Create and manage the documentation about the automation infrastructure built. Educate teams external to E-lab on the basic layout of the infrastructure Update Automation Project lead about progress and advocate them about any potential risks and process issues that might delay the delay the deliverable. Skill set requirement Expertise in developing and maintaining an automation infrastructure is a must. Software development and or scripting experience with automation test tools is a must. Well versed with version control and release management process 4 plus years of experience in system integration and QA methodologies Knowledge and experience with Qualisystems TestShell tool is an added plus. Working knowledge of administering sql database Capable of working effectively in a cross functional team 6-8 years of industry experience in automation and QA process Analytical aptitude to understand complex test environments and debug issues with scripting languages.
