We have a hot opening for....... Active Directory Admin Location: Midtown - NYC Length: 6 + Months. Top Tier Investment Bank seeks a Microsoft Active Directory and/or Microsoft Exchange developer for the Exchange Migration and Consolidation Program. The ideal candidate will have Active Directory and Exchange migration experience and deep knowledge and expertise of the Quest migration tools. Architect and design the Exchange migration solution from E2K3 to E2K10/ . Conduct the migrations of users, computers, groups, etc. utilizing the Quest migration tool. . Apply/troubleshoot GPOs and login scripts as applicable. . Troubleshoot DNS related issues as applicable. . Troubleshoot mail flow/GAL issues as applicable. . Coordinate migration activities with remote site technicians. . Develop/troubleshoot VBScripts and Powershell scripts as applicable. Responsibilities: . Serves as technical team lead for migration effort . Determines configuration of existing and Client AD and Exchange environments . Determines technical requirements of migration effort . Determines political and process requirements for migration effort . Designs migration test and production server environments . Implements and configures migration environments in test and production . Performs appropriate testing to ensure a smooth and functional migration process . Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis. . Manages migration effort in coordination with all concerned parties . Writes script collateral to support migration effort, as required . Develops documentation on migration process . Identifies, analyzes, and resolves issues with migration process . Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance . Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced systems engineers and may have supervisory responsibilities. . Serves as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met. . Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. . Participates in special projects as required. Qualifications: . Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, OR possess the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. . Candidates must have specific experience performing large-scale directory and messaging migrations for Financial services or equally large and complex environments . Candidates must have 10+ years of related systems engineering experience. . 5+ years of experience with Quest Software's Migration Manager for Exchange and Active Directory. . 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting issues with directory services and messaging . 5+ years of experience with Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server 2008 . 1+ years of experience with PowerShell, VBScript, and Command Shell batch scripting Regards, Kulbir Gain America, Inc.
