Job Title: Sr. Senior QA Analyst in Hardware Testing Exp Location: Greensboro, NC Duration: 6+ Months Project Rate is AS LOW AS POSSIBLE Job Description: Our Insurance Leader client is seeking a Senior QA Analyst in Hardware Testing for a contract beginning immediately. In this role you will develop and execute test plans and test cases for hardware related system testing to include server, desktop, and database patches, as well as server installations, upgrades, end user devices, and networking changes. You will also communicate with other QA and Business Unit team members to gather information and resolve issues as well as assist other areas in QA with manual, functional, and regression testing, performance testing, automated testing, and security testing. You will assist in the set up and maintenance of a physical and virtual test lab and provide detailed reporting to the QA Team Lead for hardware testing. This role may also include assisting the QA Lead for hardware testing with evaluating, recommending, and implementing new strategies. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of solid experience in hardware testing with an emphasis on testing out server, desktop, and database patches. Candidates should also have advanced broad system experience (Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, Networking, Virtualization, etc.) and be proficient in HP Quality Center/ALM. Successful candidates will have strong communication, time management, planning, and organizational skills as well as the ability to work with a sense of urgency and adapt easily to change.
