*Job Description:*
*Provide detail design documentation, development, unit testing and
maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased
software products
*Code to and create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
*Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify
integration points
*Estimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming
projects
*Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code
specifications
*Support application throughout the Product Development life cycle
*Coordinate with areas for integration architecture solutions and determine
the integration approach
*Review and conduct vendor research and product gap analysis comparison
*Job Requirements: (candidates would have to have all of these to be
considered):*
*Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
*6 or more years of demonstrated development experience with 1 or more years
in a technical lead role
*Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development
methodologies, database
Methodologies, system integration
*Experience with Unix or NT operating systems
*Knowledge of coding design and documentation protocol, unit testing, change
management and release procedures
*Experience developing in Java
*Experience using ClearCase or similar versioning tool
*Experience using SQL or similar query language for Oracle, DB2 or UDB
*Websphere experience
*Experience working with Use cases, Object Oriented Analysis, Design models
and Design patterns
*Experience with WebSphere Studio Application Developer (Rad 6.0 or Eclipse
3.0), J2EE, Web programming, STRUTS
*Job Requirements: *
Java / Java 2 Standard Edition 6-10 yrs
Java Database Connectivity 3-5 yrs
WebSphere Studio App Developer 3-5 yrs
Rational rose 3-5 yrs
Rational Toolset 3-5 yrs
RUP 3-5 yrs
