Knowledge or relational databases and BI theory, Familiar with Bill Inman and Ralph Kimball architectures and approaches Familiar with dimensional modeling, techniques, MDX UI experience a plus. Business analyses experience a plus. Strong requirement gathering skills Strong documentation, written and ORAL communication skills Candidate will be working with business personnel, our customers, frequently. Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies Data Mining/Predictive Analysis experience a plus Strong Math or Statistical Skills a plus The main purpose of this position is to develop Business Intelligence solutions that provide internal and external customers with timely and accurate information required to make informed decisions using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and Data Models developed to support the ad-hoc reporting tool, Report Builder. This position will also play a key role in designing the information warehouse. *Job Responsibilities:* - Provide project specific solution design using Reporting Design, Report Model and Data Mining. - Determine analysis requirements using Source Target Mapping and Source Data Analysis. - Provide documentation for the analysis requirements. - Attend meetings with internal customers to determine specific needs and to provide updates on on-going projects. - Provide general process support for projects that may include weekend availability to provide adequate coverage. *Requirements:* - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems. - Knowledge of Business Intelligence tool architectures, functions, and features. - Understanding of SQL and relational and multidimensional designs. - SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Service) or comparable report designer. - Programming experience preferred. - Strong SQL coding skills. - Multi-Dimensional Expressions (MDX) experience preferred. - Statistical education or experience a plus.
