Position : DATA ANALYST / REPORTING ANALYST Location : Addison,TX Duration : 6-12 Months Contract *POSITION SUMMARY:* Data and Reporting Analyst role is responsible for engaging business analysts and business analytics teams to understand data and reporting requirements to support business needs. This involves capturing, consolidating and communicating information from business users, to support data analytics, report development and business intelligence-related project implementations. It is the critical link between the BAs, who provides the business requirements, and the technical development teams that will construct solutions. This role will provide data support for end-user analytics and business intelligence, report definitions and designs, data validation testing, and data management. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong Business Intelligence and Business Analyst skills coupled with experience related to EMR and EPM data. *JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:* Candidate will have a strong background in health care, data analytics, business intelligence, report definition, and data management. The ideal candidate for this opportunity will possess the following work experiences: 5-7 years hands-on experience in data management, business intelligence, reporting & analytics or related functions, including: 3-5 years’ experience working with application development methodologies (i.e., SDLC) and writing business requirements preferred 2-4 years healthcare data management experience preferred Experience with EMR and EHR systems, preferably AllScripts EMR, will be desirable Experience with clinical and financial systems, preferably GE Centricity EPM, will be desirable *JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:* The Data and Reporting Analyst will possess the following critical skills and competencies: *Technical:* Experience with Business Intelligence tools (QlikView, OBIEE, SSRS etc.) Experience with OLAP cubes Needs strong SQL and MDX skills, multiple technology stacks a plus (SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, Cache, MySQL, etc.) Needs to have strong reporting background (QlikView, OBIEE, SSRS, etc), needs also to be strong in report visualization Must know database concepts (relational and multi-dimensional).
