Job Description:



*Must have strong experience in : *

· International Specialty Retailers

· PeopleSoft 9.0 Finance related to Invoices, Payments and GL
reporting

· ReconNet Sales Audit and Treasury Workstation reporting

· Change management associated with process changes



*Description: *

The business analyst consultant will work within the Client IT and business
community to ensure systems meet the known

and unknown business requirements of the user community with emphasis on
optimal business processes in and around PeopleSoft Finance, specifically
related to impacts to Financial integrations due to international
expansion.

The business analyst consultant will coordinate and lead requirements
discovery sessions and project team meetings,

analyze IT and business processes, as well as design and implement
improvements. He/she will gather, organize,

document and manage requirements, and develop test cases and scenarios to
validate the functionality meets

requirements. He/she will also be responsible for delivering related
project documentation including functional requirements, use cases,
business cases, performance metrics, and user acceptance test plans.

The business analyst consultant must be comfortable working in a fast-paced
and demanding environment, able to multi-

task across several projects simultaneously, and possess strong
interpersonal communication skills to be able to effectively communicate
with technical and non-technical resources alike.



*Responsibilities: *

· Coordinate and lead user discovery sessions and project team
meetings to gather and organize project business

· requirements and use cases on assigned projects

· Analyze and document IT and business processes and design
improvements that reduce expense and increase

· customer satisfaction through improvements in quality,
efficiency, and communication

· Identify innovative solutions to improve cross-functional
processes and operational efficiency

· Work with project leaders and architects to determine the right
technical solutions that meet the business

· requirements

· Design, coordinate, and execute application functional tests to
ensure fulfillment of business requirements and

· IT quality, architectural, and security standards

· Work closely with the quality assurance team on the correct
testing methodology/tools/reporting, focusing on

· requirements and user test methodology

· Serve as a technical writer on select projects. This may include
creating end user help and/or user

· documentation or working with the IT architecture team to
document IT architectures, standards, and strategies



*Added Qualifications *

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MIS/CIS,
Engineering, or related field (required)

· 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a
minimum 2 years in a retail environment

· At least 2 years experience on either the Functional/Business
and/or Technical side in the Finance field to be able

· to quickly understand and assess the business processes and
requirements

· Strong Business Analyst skills - experience with process
modeling, use case development and detailed

· requirements documentation, with an expertise in IT systems
development lifecycle

· Ability to lead business and IT associates with strong
interpersonal skills, including collaboration, facilitation,

· leadership, and negotiation skills

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills to facilitate
communications between and among highly

· experienced business and IT associates

· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to breakdown and
effectively communicate complex business and

· technical processes, problems, and issues

· Excellent planning and organizational skills; capable of
multi-tasking across several projects

· Ability to understand the long-term (big picture) and short
term perspectives of situations

· Personal Attributes: Confident, Self-starter, Strong work ethic,
