Lead Infrastructure Architect Location:Battle Creek,MI Duration:4 Months+ Extensions Rate : Best in the market *Must Haves *7+ years’ experience with building infrastructure Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), Microsoft Azure (Cloud Computing) Windows server experience Public cloud experience Communication skills *Plusses* SAS experience Linux experience *Role:* This person will be reporting directly to the Director of Infrastructure on his engineering team. They need someone to come in to design and build an infrastructure to host AWS within SAS. This is a massive data analytics project to help statisticians analyze sales data. This person will interface with a lot of people with in the app team to get the requirements, analyze deadlines/costs/best solutions and then design and build the proper infrastructure. This large of a project is most likely not going to fit in their data center but they are looking to move it to a cloud. They are looking for someone with hands-on build capabilities to architect and build this infrastructure environment. (They could potentially come from operations > build engineer > infrastructure architect… they will be LEADING this initiative, going to meetings and being the spokesperson of this AWS Cloud project.
