· Support and troubleshoot the availability of applications,
systems, networks, and servers
· Participate in bug/issue triage, resolution and documentation
· Communicate release, incident, and bug status
· Deploy code to production servers
· New account set up
· SQL customer support (both Tier 1 and 2)
· Manage routine DB back-ups
· Install security patches as needed to maintain availability of
required environments
· Install application updates as needed to maintain availability of
required environments
· Provide analysis on systems statistical trending, server capacity
and threshold testing, systems documentation maintenance as needed.
· Provide technical expertise for resolving critical production
systems issues, aligned with the discipline to research and document
respective root causes to drive permanent resolutions to issues as needed.
· Work with multi-discipline teams across the organization to
troubleshoot complex support issues, identify root causes and develop/drive
mitigation options.
· Other duties as assigned by MICROSOFT management
· 3 Years in Windows Server Technology at a Basic
· 1 Years in Network Engineering Technology an Basic level
· Technology at Basic / Intermediate/ Expert level
· 2 yr exp. configuring troubleshooting Internet Applications,
IIS, DNS, FTP, SFTP, TCP, or SSH.
· 2 yr exp. Automating windows administration tasks with a
scripting language (Windows Shell Scripting, PowerShell, VBscript)
· 2 yrs exp. with SQL services, specifically log shipping,
clustering, DB replication performance tuning
