Location: FL Duration: 1 Year Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff Ability to process information logically Ability to design systems logic and/or process information Ability to prepare program specifications Ability to perform mathematical calculations Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments Ability to communicate technical data processing information effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others Roles and Responsibilities Windows server administration Installation & patching, maintenance and performance tuning of Windows operating system. Installation, patching, and application support of Windows internet application servers. Troubleshooting web connectivity and DNS issues with the server and/or network team and name service providers. Installation and configuration of backup software. Performs backups and when necessary recovery of Windows servers. Sun/Solaris server administration Installation & patching, maintenance and performance tuning of the computer operating system software and/or hardware. Performs a continuous review of overall computer operating system performance utilizing interactive and batch monitoring software products to ensure balance of workload over mass-storage devices and optimal CPU utilization. Develops and maintains technical standards, procedures and techniques for the resolution of software problems to ensure maximum system availability and performance levels for the user community. This includes working with vendor technical specialists in modifying, correcting and installing vendor provided software. Research and evaluate new hardware and software products that enhance system efficiency and support operation personnel. Installation and configuration of backup software. Performs backups and when necessary recovery of Solaris servers Samba setup and administration. Setup and administration of Solaris Zones. Thanks and Regards. .
