Load Test Consultant

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Duration: 6+ months

Start date: ASAP

*In case of H1b consultants visa copy is a must.*

1. Works across 3 dev SCRUM teams as the automated Performance and Load
test SME utilizing predominantly Visual Studio based tooling and workflows

2. Proficient with VS2015, Performance and load test platform, tools,
methodologies and best practices. We want someone expert with coding,
organizing, and customizing VS Web Tests, including working with custom
data types (JSON). Someone who can help organize commonalities across web
tests, so we can be more efficient at coding future web tests. Someone who
can help quickly unblock obstacles with coding which our JCI team members
will encounter

3. Hands on review of current test scripts in JCI’s environments, review
existing scripts/process/tooling and propose recommendations for change on
the spot. Being primarily hands-on, side-by-side with developers/testers
would be the main goal

4. Generate common scenarios based on automated test scripts in VS and
scripts are and will be written in C+ to be part of the regression suite.
Our approach and expectation here is to capture functional tests as web
performance tests and then generate automated load tests against these. The
generated scripts will be in C# and hence can be made part of deployment
and scheduled to be executed in an automated way. Main duties here would be
to identify and code “shared steps” that can be reused across our suite of
web tests

Ideal skills:

   - Experience with modeling, scripting, executing, and evaluating load
   tests using Visual Studio 2015
   - Strong experience with scripting *simulated* browser sessions using
Visual Studio web tests. (These are very similar to JMeter or LoadRunner
scripts, for those unfamiliar with it, but is*completely* different than
browser automation testing, like with Selenium or VS Coded UI Tests.)
   - Strong experience coding in C#
   - Excellent understanding of over-the-wire HTTP interactions between
   browsers and web servers

*Thanks & Regards,*
