Location: Augusta, ME Interview : Face to Face *Primary Skills: * * Core Java, J2EE, RDMS, SQL, PL/ SQL* Responsibilities for JAVA Developer: v 5-8+ years of Core Java development experience ; 3-5 + years of J2EE programming experience, including Servlets, JSP, Web services. o Strong knowledge of RDMS (Oracle 10g+); Experience designing and developing DB schemas for enterprise-level applications . Understanding of data structures and the ability to query data tables using SQL and PL/SQL v Work on product development through all phases of software development including design,implementation, and deployment. v Develop Java software modules using Java/J2EE and Database related technologies. Technical design and development of new enhancements. v Work closely with team leads to translate requirements into high-quality, timely deliverables. v Contribute as a strong hands-on technical member in project development activities. v Produce clean and unit-tested code. v Ability to study new technologies and bring fresh ideas that can benefit the project. v Perform code reviews within the team. v Mentor junior engineers and guide them with their assignments. Required Skills v Minimum of five years’ experience in Java/J2EE. v Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Core Java development experience; 3-5 years of J2EE programming experience, including Servlets, JSP, Web services v Minimum of three years’ experience building highly scalable, distributed systems. Experience with multi-threaded architectures, thread management, latency and throughput optimization. Experience with open-source frameworks. Spring and Hibernate experience a plus.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written). Leadership skills and solid team-player. v Minimum of three years’ experience in RDMS (Oracle 10g); experience designing and developing schemas for enterprise level applications; understanding of data structure and the ability to query data tables using SQL and PL/SQL. Additional comments: v Public Sector experience. v Health and Human Services experience. v Solid analytical and problem solving skills and strong attention to detail . v Highly motivated, a Go-Getter who needs very little or no supervision. v Ability to quickly learn and stay current with new technologies . v Previous experience mentoring junior Team Members. v Track record of delivering quality products.
