Title - Web Services Tester Work Location - Pleasanton, CA Duration: 6+ months Client: CSC Need strong independent web services tester (possible two but we confirming the figures ) . Would you please make resumes available for our review as soon as possible. It is critical that we have the final candidate (s) on board ASAP. Please do not forward us resumes where people just have a basic knowledge of Soap UI. Unfortunately, there will be no time for on the job learning. Job Description The web services team is involved in developing and certifying Soap based and REST based services for all channels supported by kp.org [2]. The ideal candidate would be a white box tester with coding experience in Java. He/she should have extensive experience validating and certifying web services using the SoapUI tool. The candidate should not just have a basic working knowledge using SoapUI tool; A BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF SOAP UI IS INSUFFICIENT FOR THIS POSITION. He/she should have strong database skills. His/her role would involve working with a messaging queue so any experience in this domain would be beneficial. The knowledge of iTKO LISA is not essential but would be beneficial. Web services testing does not involve UI components so the candidate should be technically strong and be able to envision the test scenarios.
