*Senior Project Manager Overview:*
This position exists to manage the projects in various portfolios derived
from the company's three year rolling business plan. The incumbent will
work closely with senior leadership to ensure projects are properly funded,
resourced and managed. Supports several midsize-to-large projects. The
incumbent has familiarity with, and demonstrated understanding of, the
enterprise's business and technical architectures.

*Senior Project Manager Job Responsibilities: *
Ø Identify necessary management structures for projects, and secure
the management involvement required.
Ø Oversee and control any external resources contracted to the project.
Ø Drive proper project chartering and setup.
Ø Maintain strategic alignment of projects by analyzing charters and
reviewing with management decision makers.
Ø Forecast internal resource capacity by tracking the progress of
projects across the portfolio.
Ø Perform team management, driving motivation, collaboration and
performance.
Ø Estimate project costs and manage the budget (includes related scope
control).
Ø Define and drive "rightsized" project management processes
(especially, supporting quality assurance).
Ø Track and report on project metrics and benefits.
Ø Responsible for managing the project throughout its lifecycle.
Ø Incorporates effective change and risk management controls.
*Senior Project Manager Job Requirements: *
Ø Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business
Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
Ø Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
Ø Prefer 7 to 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience,
with at least 3 years in managing large scale projects.
Ø Extensive background with project management processes, techniques
and tools.
Ø Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
Ø Advanced computer skills
