Title: SQL Server 2008/2012 Database Developer (Sql server, SSIS) Contract Duration: 6 months+ Location: New York, New York *Minimum Requirements:* Effectively design, develop, implement & support Business applications, Enterprise Data Warehouse. Develop extracts and reports out of data intensive systems. Be part of a highly motivated Team. Required Business Skills MUST have recent exp. and strong Business knowledge in Investment Banking/Asset Management - strong knowledge of Asset classes (FI, EQ etc..) *Required Technical Skills* Strong experience in designing and developing an Enterprise Data Warehouse Strong experience in database programming in SQLserver 2008/2012 Experience in MS SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS is a huge plus Strong experience in Data Modeling, Dimensions, Fact Tables, Stored Procs Well experienced in designing & developing ETL processes (Plus) Must be able and willing to work on the entire SDLC *Preferable: (in addition to the above)* Experienced in C#/.NET Experience with SharePoint *Required Experience:* 8+ years experience in MS SQL Server 2008 and 2012 versions. 5 years experience in data warehousing, database development, ETL processes Preferably 3-5 Years of Asset management industry experience Some experience with Microsoft BI (SSIS/SSRS) development *Technical Environment* MSSQL 2008 R2 Microsoft Office 2010 Transact SQL .Net/C# *Soft Skills:* Understanding of the Asset Management business and processes. Strong communication and documentation skills Experience in Business requirement gathering Ability to work closely with Business Users / Line Managers Good understanding of SDLC and Change Management processes Ability to research and resolve technical issues independently Ability to work as part of a Team in a fast paced environment *Description:* Effectively design, develop, implement & support Business applications, Enterprise Data Warehouse.
