Strong Data warehousing background preferred. Must have atleast 10 years of experience as a solution architect. Recent experience must be in leading a Data Warehouse and/or a Business Intelligence project. Ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to data infrastructure. Ability to run sql queries against databases to validate data across different platforms. Must be able to troubleshoot data issues independently. Ability to evaluate and make recommendations regarding data integrity issues. Ability to develop methods of ensuring data incompatibilities among systems are systematically eliminated. Ability to identify repeated tasks and develop processes to automate them. Finance/Insurance industry experience is highly preferred although not absolutely essential. Must have a good working knowledge of ETL, Web Services & Reporting environment. Must assist ETL developers and Cognos developers in converting complex business requirements to technical specs. Must work with the different application teams to scope and integrate their application needs in line with company’s strategic initiatives. Should be able to work fast – paced, high-pressure environment and be able to deliver on tight deadlines. Must have strong performance tuning capabilities, providing technical support to staff and end users, ability to troubleshoot and problem solve all tools.
