This hire will be a senior team member to help analyze the problems, help design solutions and implement the technology. * Ability to help design robust global risk platform solutions. * Ability to code with high quality and deliver software on time to meet project milestones * Team player fostering a collaborative and cooperative approach to software development. * Strong problem-solving skills SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES (eg shifts, travel overseas, hours): Staff may occasionally need to be on calls with Singapore and London in their time zone and some weekend work on production releases, but no actual shift work. *Qualifications*: • Provision of relevant technical designs, unit test docs and release documentation. • Team player fostering a collaborative and cooperative approach to software development. • 5+ years of commercial software development in the Finance/Banking sector. * **UPDATE = 3 years of commercial software development experience in the Finance/Banking sector.* • Significant experience of full development/project life-cycle. • Experience with Design patterns. • Proven OO programming experience. •* **C#** **development skills are required.* • Knowledge of risk management, trading and how system software aids trading and risk decision making is a big plus.. • Strong design and architecture skills including OO design and multi-tier messaging frameworks.
