The Senior Database Administrator is responsible for maintaining the
availability and performance for MS Sqlserver 2000, 2005, 2008 databases in
a production environment.
The candidate should demonstrate a solid understanding of the types of
database problems that surface in highly concurrent, reactive systems, as
well as the various approaches for addressing these problems; the
administrator ensures that the database provides service to its clients in a
timely manner. Also, an understanding of handling state-dependent and
event-driven behavior in database systems is essential.
