Oracle DBA Hightstown, NJ 6 Months - 12 Months Start ASAP *Must Haves:* 7+ years progressive experience as Oracle DBA Experience with stand-alone and RAC environments Experience with backup and recovery procedures using RMAN. Experience with Data guard and setting up DR environments Experience with any other database platforms such as MySQL or SQL Server is preferable Ability to mentor and train other Administrators Proven skills communicating to multiple levels of an organization, including internal, customer, and vendor Able to communicate clearly with peers as well as management Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward Excellent communication, writing, meeting facilitation and presentation skills *Plus:* Experience with data center migrations is preferred BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience Oracle Certification is a plus Experience working with a virtual team environment is a plus Prior Services Industry experience is preferable *Day to Day:* These DBA’s will be working as support on part of a Large scale Data Center Move & Application Migration.They will be responsible for day to day support, backfilling the FTE’s which are going to be working on the actual migrations.
