*Job title: Peoplesoft AP/PO Functional Support Specialist
Location: Princeton, New Jersey
Duration: 2 years Contract

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in troubleshooting PeopleSoft AP and PO production problems,
performs root cause analysis, and either contacts Oracle/PeopleSoft to
obtain a software patch or works with OIT to develop/install in-house
corrections to resolve the issue on hanystem/integration testing.

Supports the manager and PeopleSoft Financials team in analyzing user
requests for minor and major system enhancements, focusing on PeopleSoft AP
and PO. Gathers the business requirements and does the requisite research.
Formulates potential solutions and proposes them to the user community,
clearly identifying the pros and cons of each solution.
Documents user requirements, defines scope and objectives.  Works with the
team to develop the project plan. Determine the effort, timeline and work
breakdown structure of project.   Assigns responsibilities of activities
and monitors and communicates the project progress to stakeholders.
Facilitates project team meeting and manages project change control and
project risks.  Meets with the project stakeholders to keep projects on
track.
Develops functional design specification. Collaborates with OIT, business
users and others to successfully implement the system enhancement projects.
Plans and Performs system testing tasks and works with business users on
User Acceptance testing. Partners with end user on user acceptance sign
off, training and deployment.
Serves as a subject matter expert, in the functional areas of AP and PO,
during system upgrades and implementations

*ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in technology related field, accounting or business
administration
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of related experience
Broad knowledge in the business functions of PeopleSoft Purchasing and
PeopleSoft Accounts payable, preferably in a Higher Education setting.
Expertise with functional troubleshooting of Production issues to identify
root cause.
Ability to translate user requirements into functional designs.
Ability to conduct System Testing and Regression testing.
Ability to help users perform User Acceptance testing
Project Management skills. Ability to follow Project management methodology
Moderate level in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
PeopleSoft Query
Expertise in PeopleSoft AP and Purchasing, configuration and setup
Entity relationship diagramming (ERD), Process flowcharting (VISIO)
