The resource will be working with a Lead to know and understand requirements, write test scenarios/cases, automate test cases using QTP, and test execution. They should be an expert at QTP for automating test cases. They should know and understand each QC module. *1. **Tool Sets:* · QTP(Quick Test Professional) V 9.0 and Higher · Quality Center V 9.0 and Higher · SQL *2. **Work Products: * This is a QA Tester and test automation position; Looking for Expert-level knowledge for software testing experience using HP (Mercury) Test Suite, specifically QTP. Resource must have experience using HP Quality Center for defect management, test planning, test execution and reporting. * * * 3. Activities:* · Develops robust and reusable test cases. · Create and execute manual and automation (QTP) scripts · Analysis of automation test results · Reviews new or modified applications, including documentation, diagram, and flowchart, to determine if application will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines. · Effectively coordinates activities with QA to meet project milestone schedules. Keeps lead updated on project progress. · Participates in system walk-thru’s of technical and operational features. · Creates and reviews test cases; test design and other test documents during each project cycle. · Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. · Strong organization skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment. · Strong professional communication skills required, both written and verbal.
