We have an below urgent requirement from our client.
*Title: **QTP Automation Tester***
*Location:**Austin**, TX*
*Duration: *12+ months
*Description:*
· Looking for an Automation Tester with relevant experience in QTP
framework and concepts; not just recorded and performed play back. The
tester should be able to understand the business logic of a test case and
should be able to automate it efficiently using reusable functions. The
candidate must be good in communication and be able to elicit business use
cases from the manual testers.
*Required Tool Experience:*
· QTP 10.0 / 9.5 and HP Quality Centre 10.0
*Responsibilities:*
· Development of new QTP automated tests.
· Maintenance of existing automated tests, including the ones that
may be written by other testers.
· Effectively and efficiently work with Test Team in order to aid in
defining, planning, developing, executing, managing, and reporting of new
development, maintenance, and support work.
· Candidates must be willing to work evenings and weekends, as
necessary, to support project goals, especially during the peak testing
timeframe.
· Candidates must be able to work well in a team environment and
should possess good communication skills.
· Work proficiently, efficiently, and with full accountability for
each assignment's result while ensuring that the new automated tests
facilitate in the completion of project goals.
· Communicate effectively and persuasively with Development Teams
regarding approaches and options in automated regression testing and defects
management.
· Experience in Public Sector - Health and Human Services is a plus.
