Job Title : Sr. Internet Information Architect

FUNCTION: The Sr. Internet Information Architect's role is to
design, develop, implement and oversee the operation of web based
applications. This individual will provide technical leadership and
consulting to team members and peers. The Sr. Information Architect is
expected to keep abreast of the available technology regarding web
development, information delivery and relational database technology.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
. Maintain in-depth knowledge of company's strategic business
plans.
. Provide architectural consulting expertise, direction, and
assistance to Systems Analysts, Systems Engineers, and other Systems
Architects.
. Develop in-depth knowledge of company's existing IT
architecture/infrastructure, and technology portfolio.
. Develop, document, communicate, and enforce a technology
standards policy.
. Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of
infrastructure development efforts, and recommend technologies that will
increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
. Design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end
integrated systems.
. Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and
systems technical performance. Report on findings and make recommendations
for improvement.
. Provide guidance to junior members of the team.
SKILLS AND ABILITITES:
. 3+years experience with business requirements
gathering/analysis.
. Proven experience in internet based systems design and
development.
. Strong understanding of information processing principles and
practices.
. In-depth technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform
operating systems, including current MS Windows Server and Desktop releases.
. Expert knowledge of programming languages, including VB6, C++
and C#, ASP.
. 4+ years of hands on experience with application development
tools, including Visual Studio 6 and Visual Studio .NET.
. 4+ years of hands-on experience with relational database
technology, preferably MS SQL Server.
. Superior knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and
laws.
. Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving
abilities.
. Exceptional understanding of the organization's goals and
objectives.
. Superior written and oral communication skills.
. Strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a
high-pressure environment.
. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative
environment.
MINIMUM LEVEL OF PREPARATION AND TRAINING NORMALLY
REQUIRED BY THE JOB:
. College diploma or university degree in the field of computer
science, information systems, or computer engineering or equivalent
experience
. 5+ years experience working as a developer
