*SAP Project Manager – Milwaukie, WI – 6 Months Plus*
This position will be a part of the ERP COE Delivery Team and will work with the Contact Center and ERP CI project teams to drive consistency in ERP project execution to improve delivery quality, increase sustainability and reduce overall cost to the Company. The candidate must be an experienced Project Manager that has planned and executed large SAP projects. This position will be responsible for working with project teams’ leadership to mentor them in SAP project execution, within the framework of the Client ERP project methodology. *The Cutover Manager is responsible for:* · Defining the cutover organization and roles for their project · Communicate release deliverables and timelines to the cutover organization · Develop the readiness assessment criteria for their project and communicate to the Release Manager · Create and maintain a detailed cutover checklist to drive the process through go-live including; work with plant site leaders to establish site readiness, work with functional leads to establish manual configuration steps. · Review the estimated duration of activities, conversions, and the respective dependencies and task sequences. · Incorporate business transition activities like bank notifications, clearing un-cashed checks, collect or write-off 90 days’ receivables, and so on. · Plan for the activation of any interface(s). · Assign owners to cutover steps. · Determine at which points to back up the data during the conversion process. · Identify which cutover steps are risky and what to do if they fail. · Determine the process of restarting conversions if programs abort. · Develop relationships with the leadership of the sites to maintain good status on cut-over progress. · Facilitate the team to prepare a fallback strategy describing how to continue using the legacy system and going live with SAP R/3 at a later date. · Participate in Project Go/No Go criteria definition and ultimate Go/No Go Decision Process itself. *Warm Regards,* * * *Syed Muzaffer Ali | Technical Recruiter | Cigniti Inc *® *O:** *972-756-0622 *Ext:* 215 *F:** *972-756-0644 *e:* s...@cigniti.com *| **w:* *www.cigniti.com* *IM: *syed.recrui...@ymail.com ** 433 E Las Colinas Blvd. # 1240 Irving, TX - 75039 http://cigniti.typepad.com/cigniti_bridging_the_gaps/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
