Looking for an experienced developer with expertise in Web Services, SOA and JEE The Applied Research Center (ARC) is the corporate research organization for Motorola. The remit of this center is to develop enabling technologies, applications, and systems integral to the future of Motorola's business units. We are strongly interested in candidates who have had a background creating SOA services for large-scale deployments. Familiarity with the latest JEE paradigms and other pertinent technical domain expertise is expected. The contractor will assist the team in implementing commercially-feasible end-to-end software services. Direct responsibility for detailed design and implementation is a must. Specific Knowledge/Skills - Previous Web services implementation experience - Bachelors degree (Computer Science preferred) - Ideal candidate should have worked on an end-to-end solution and led the initial design, component realization, and integration of the system Technical background that includes: - 5 to 10 years of experience designing and developing internet based software systems. - Expertise with Web services, SOA, including RESTful, JSON, Ajax, SOAP, WSDL principles - Creating, adapting, and interfacing large scale data models and data sets for Web services - Leveraging application servers such as Glassfish, JBoss, Tomcat or equivalent - Use of cloud computing services such as S3/EC2, Mosso, App Engine a plus - Building solutions using Hadoop/HBase, BigTable, S3, CloudFS or similar data service - Proficiency with JEE and experience with test frameworks such as JUnit - Knowledge of build and CI systems such as Maven & Hudson to manage large and complex code base - Familiarity with development efforts using SCRUM or similar Agile methodologies * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
